Update. I had the local guy fix my combo meter. It took about 1.5 hours and everything was reset. I have a year guarantee. Getting a recondition combo meter was tempting. I just don't know if I could have gotten anyone to put it in. I am mechanically inclined but there were too many things to unscrew and knowing me I would have lost some forgotten where they go. As my friend said to me know you you would have lost the screw driver in there. Well that's an exaggeration. A lot of less headaches. Now its a waiting game of lets see if it happens again.
