Does it have the linear solenoid relearn function?

Yeah, I do recall having some issues but in the end I was able to complete the procedure. The biggest issue I had was installing Techstream on my laptop.

    It's a cheap scanner but It can make you a coffee while you diagnose . . . . .

That's part of the function needed when one replaces the brake actuator and completes the brake bleed. If you're promoting this unit, it is helpful to find out exactly what it can do and cannot do. Reading some of the reviews on Amazon leads me to believe that this unit is not the best option for a Prius.

Up through gen 3 at any rate, there is a non-scan-tool, jumper-wire dance for the linear solenoid relearn, in case you are stuck with a scan tool that can't do it.

When considering partially-functional scan tools, it can be useful to be familiar with what alternatives like that are available.

Yeah, Amazon reviews are always reliable. /s

Amazon bundles reviews for different but related products. For all we know this review, even if real, may be for a much more expensive product. In the image in the post the review doesn't give the model number. LAUNCH sells scanners over a wide range of price points, the review could have been from one of the expensive ones, depending on what they chose to bundle.

The number of women who own a Prius, and would do a brake actuator replacement on it themselves, and use a tool like this afterwards, is very small. Judith Thom may be real, if she is and does this sort of work, she would likely have an account on this forum. If one of the administrators has a tool to search real names, and she is here, please ask her to chime in. Thanks.

I don't know at the moment whether it does that. Not had cause to do everything.
This is probably the best review. The Toyota mechanic reckons it does 97% of what the oem Techstream can do.
