It's not just Toyota and nobody is thinking about how much anyone should drive although engineers do make assumptions based on averages. I suppose they could have found a way to squeeze in a bigger 12V, but where do you draw the line? Four weeks? Six? 12?Practically all modern cars have bigger parasitic loads on the 12V system when the car is supposedly "off." Lot's of stuff is running these days when we think our cars are off. Keyless entry systems, alarms systems, etc. The Gen 4 Prius even does an emissions system test a few hours after you shut it off. Still, I've let my Prii sit for three weeks or more several times. They always started right up. If it was longer than that, I'd have put it on a battery minder whether it was a Prius or a <gag!!> Buick.

I prefer to think of it as direct and to the point.......but others share your conclusions. :)

I didn't really criticize your posting style, did I ??
