Courtesy Toyota Oil Change Fail

My single experience with a "Prius certified" technician at the local dealer on Alameda Ave. was not trust endearing. He was *positive* that a proper drain and fill of the radiator coolant required the same be done of the inverter coolant.

Our Prius has had zero problems, but when a problem does arise I don't know where I can go for competent service. Any advice for Albuquerque ?

 

My dealer tossed in one free oil change. I'm wary of bringing my car into them now after hearing some of these stories! Maybe I'll just bite the bullet and pay for it at Luscious Garage in San Franscisco...I feel like I can trust them even though I've never met them!

 

I took mine in for it's 5000 mile change to my local dealer (Rogers Toyota) Monday the 5th and was pleased.
They used Toyota 0W 20W oil in 1 qt bottles.
Gave me the 1/2 qt that was left after the change.
Also the tech asked me what i was running for tire pressure and when i told him 40 front 38 rear he reset the tires to that after the rotation. Oh ya tech also reset the oil change warning and never lost the A trip readings All in all it was good service.
