Contemplating a second EGR cleaning

    Ah. I'll tamp down my excitement and keep waiting to see up close an actual Toyota, but newer, EGR valve.

    Assuming it would actually move if the egr step position test is done even if its not mounted to the engine?

    So, it is 1.6qt for the dipstick. I confused it for the 1.1qt every 600miles for acceptable oil burning. Last November I got the P0A80 at around 192k. I kept on resetting the light as every time the light came on, it went into limp mode. I can't quite remember but maybe it January, I took 2 weeks to try and DIY. I ended up with mixed modules from a ebay seller. The first 4 I ordered were awesome, then next 4 I ordered were not as good but better than most of my modules. So I've kinda got a half assed HVB. I haven't checked for codes in a while but the P0A80 never went away. But it's never lit up the dash and gone into limp mode since.

    I had the P0A80 reset and did a Dr.Prius test and think it scored 15%. I think I'm now at 50%. I spent about $250 on modules and about $100 on some supplies and $80 on a charger that crapped out half way through that I returned. I'm hesitant to buy the Project Lithium modules. My headgasket is going on cylinder 1 on the back side. Has been for a while. Towing it blows out oil from it. Also in the summer my AC is very, very bad. I was wondering if making the HVB better would also make the AC better but it's not hot enough outside to tell.
