Congress wants daylight-saving time change to save oil

children who are tired all the time is because their parents let them stay up.

as far as too early to go? no way. kids should have time to go home and play before it gets to be dark. also having them go later may create a situation where they would not go at all if parents have to leave for work.

i know my son would not get out of bed if someone wasnt there to make sure he did. as it is, he gets up at the very last second and has to be rushed to school by his mother every day. (she wont let him ride the bus)

The problem is solved easily:

Jack up fossil fuel taxes, scrap the C.A.F.E. business totally. Higher fuel prices will cause consumers to buy more fuel effecient vehicles, no matter what style they are.

Jack up fossil fuel costs enough and alternatives become economically viable, no government program of any kind is needed, the market will come up with substitutes.
