Personally, since this thread has a very misleading title, I think we should let this thread die instead of having it continually being bumped to the top. If people want to discuss their GOM (guess-o-meter, the MyNissanLeaf name for theirs) values after charging, perhaps it should be done in a better titled thread.

Closing a thread after it has run its course is appropriate.

With so many misunderstandings about the estimate value and misconceptions about capacity in general already being addressed in other threads, this one is proving counterproductive.

    It should be closed.

We have like 5 of these threads. But we should just get a mod to rename the title. Going to report that post now. Cheers.

Interesting... I guess one of the mods changed it since the OP's last activity was on November 1st...

Lol read my previous post. I specifically asked them to change it. In fact, ONLY a mod can change the thread title, even the OP can't :)

    tried that.
apparently, it depends on which forum you're in. fred's house of pancakes is a free-for-all, so you have permissions to do just about anything there. in this forum though, you can't do it. just find a post that you've started here and try it for yourself.
anyway, this discussion has gone way off the rails. and like into the ocean. lol.

Maybe so... I tried editing one in Other Cars and that worked too (Cars.com: Automakers to Scrap Thousands of Sandy-Damaged Cars - title test | PriusChat), but it did put on the "Last edited" text.

Hi there, I am Den, the one who started this whole thread. On a full charge using 115 VAC, I have dropped down to 9.5 miles now and holding at that range. I have 2500 miles on the car. My over-all milage for that 2500 is 75 MPG.
I did start out at over 13 miles after a full charge and now with the 9.5 miles I cannot go as far. I wish I had built a Chev Volt.

75 MPG is not something to just walk away from. You are doing better than most non-plug in Prius.

You can trade in for a Volt. If you have some questions, maybe start a thread on the Volt sub-forum and a few other Prius/Volt owners will answer.
