The amazing thing is that there IS an auto-setting clock in the NAV system and yet the clock in the dashboard is a 1990s-era "dumb" display that has to completely be set by hand, and the two do not talk with each other. This points up the feeling I have that the NAV system team had absolutely ZERO coordination/communication with the rest of the car's teams. Really an embarassment, and a very strange set of management choices.
That is because not all Gen 4 have navigation. Your Prime is based off the Gen 4 so it has the same issues discussed here.
I think I'm trying to say that even without a NAV system, the dashboard clock should be a nice, modern one that sets itself from HD radio or GPS or one of the modern time signals that fly through the air.
