Gosh, I go on a road trip, and this place just goes to hell in a handbasket! *sigh*

Life can't be that great in space -- couldn't imagine going if one's government didn't promise some 'comfort food'... for me, it would be lots of fresh fruit, chocolate (dark, raw), and coffee. ...

BTW, horse meat was common in the US during the WW 2.

 

It is good eating... sliced thin with a dip in some sauce and mayo on wheat/rye... :hungry:

 

I don't mind horse meat

 

My step-father bought horse meat because it was cheaper. Then he'd tell me it was all sorts of strange animals. I thought I was eating rhinoceros or giraffe or any number of exotic animals, but it was all just horse. It was the early 1950's, I was around 5 years old, and we didn't have a lot of money because he was blacklisted and could not get a job.
