not only the brake booster pump but one evening as I walked by the wifes Prius I heard the coolant transfer pump cycle and found out that it cycles around 4-5 hours after the last shut down. Wonder what the accumulated current draw is from that over a week?

I won't change the waterpump unless it had been overheated or have head gasket failure. We can see the rpm and temp sensor using OBD2 device.
    As a maintenance:
    1. clean the intake and EGR valves every 75k miles
    2. change coolant every 5y/50k miles for engine and 7y for inverter
    3. sparkplugs 120k miles
    4. Trans fluid 60k miles
    5. Brake fluid 5-7 year unless moisture is up>2%
    9. pressure wash underbody every spring
    10. oil change 5-7k miles

This is not a thing on the Gen 2 as it does not have an EGR system.
