Charging hybrid battery with RC Charger

    You may have ruined the MAF and MAP sensors with the brake cleaner.
    There is a cleaner designed just for those two sensors because they are sensitive.
    You could have used alchol on them though. That is what I used because I didn't have the MAP/MAF Cleaner spray.
    But I have it now for the next time. :)

    Get a wiring diagram for the engine controls and see what those sensors have in common. IAT is usually part of the MAF, but MAP and TPS1 (or APP1) are separate. They might share a sensor "ground" or signal return circuit back to the computer.

    Tested the sensors they came out fine tested resistance and voltage on MAF was good and back probed and worked fine yet still throwing the codes even after I reset them. Totally confused

    Brake cleaner on a MAF sensor is probably what did it. Both of those airflow sensors are very sensitive to chemicals. Chemical companies sell specific cleaner for these and it behaves very different from brake cleaner / carb cleaner.

    You’re probably going to have to replace them both at this point.

    Thanks they are actually ok there was a short in the wiring also to mention this car has been in 2 accidents but I did find this wiring harness unplugged with no where to go I'm going to post pictures. 3 wires black,red and white 20210506_201000.jpg 20210506_201000.jpg 20210506_200953.jpg
