That looks very well thought out! I wonder if it would keep out the lizards. :D

(I have several friends from New England. I need to find out if "sawn" is the local spelling of "sewn." Like our friend who, when we asked her what she does with her "r"s (ca or draw instead of car or drawer), she said she puts 'em on her pizzer. Then again, President Kennedy apparently sent his down to Cuber during the missile crisis. :ROFLMAO:)

Back to the cover and being serious -- I would absolutely be wanting one of those if I had to deal with snow and ice.

It won't protect them from freezing.;) Frozen iguanas fall from trees in Florida as temperatures plummet – video | US news | The Guardian

Here is another photo of the EV-Port-Cover. Sorry for the out of focus photos. Very heavy frost this morning after day long drizzle turned ice overnight. Inside the charge port was as dry as a bone.

No it is not a NE thing. My bad, simply a typo. They did now "saw" the material.;)

I was just teasing. Hope it didn't bother you. :)

On the iguanas, that was all over the news down here during our "cold" snap. All I could think was, "DUH! What would you expect lizards to do when it gets too cold for them?" Just amazed that so many people thought that was noteworthy. BTW, it's fun to see how slowly lizards move when it gets below about 50F.

I've never seen iguanas in a wild, only inside cage as a pet. The one inside of cage did not move particularly fast. I wonder how quick they are at normal Florida temp???

    No worries, No offense taken.

They can be pretty quick. Most of the time, they don't move, but if they spot a banana peel, look out! LOL!

On the island where we used to live, iguanas are endangered, but people hunt them anyway. (Yes, they really do taste like chicken.) A friend of mine rescues them and other critters and the tourists love to feed the iguanas. Check it out.
