Changed PCV now Misfires and ICE Won't Start, please help!

Thanks Dabard, water in the gas tank seems unlikely but definitely not far fetched.

It was drizzling the day I replaced the PCV valve. After I finished replacing the valve the car was shaking and the gas light was also on at the time. Since the car was not able to be driven, I walked to the nearest gas station and borrowed their gas tank, which already had some liquid in it (which they told me was gas). I made two trips before my gas light turned off. If the previous liquid in the gas tank was water, then it would definitely have worsened the situation.

Rather than running the car, could I buy a siphon and suck the gas from the engine out then pour in fresh gas?

If anything, this might be the last thing I try before donating the car. I've posted the car on craigslist for $350 but no interest.

 

Thank you for the link, I actually remember reading that thread a while back and when I replaced the plugs I looked inside after removing the coils to see if I had any water but did not see any. It's possible that I could have water at the bottom of the hole that the spark plugs screw into but even with my phone flashlight I couldn't see how it looked down there. His symptoms do sound extremely similar to mine though!

Maybe I will pull out the new plugs again and see how they look.
