I would, but I'm an Android user.

Any advice? Besides prying my wallet loose and buying the service at full pop.

To do the same on android you need to tap the version number on the side rapidly like 5 times, then the same option to purchase old pro appears.

It worked, so I purchased the app and the OBD2 adapter.

    Thank you, all.

The app maker had said on the Carista FB page that he was going to leave the backdoor open for a little while.I don't know when the option will go away but it will. Good job jumping on it before it disappeared.

I purchased the Carista OBD II adaptor and Pro Package on iOS, now waiting for the adaptor to arrive. I tried Carista on my Samsung with generic OBD adaptor but didn't want to purchase the Pro on Android.

For customizing I will go with Carista on my iPhone, and live basic data I opt for Torque Lite on Samsung.

I received my adaptre [sic] and plugged it in. The red light illuminated and I'm wondering if it's a problem to leave it plugged in when the car is not is use.

I have a cheap one and it doesn't turn off with the car. Drained my 12v battery over 2 days to the point of doors barely unlocking. So I'd recommend not having it plugged in if its one of the low cost models.

I received my Carista adaptre:ROFLMAO: last saturday but havent have time to try it out. But from what I saw on Amazon questions or reviews, don't leave the connector plugged in as this unit doesnt have auto off function. I maybe wrong on that, but I'd probably take mine off once I am done with playing the settings.

I also have a Hikeren Mini Bluetooth OBD2 connectre:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:, this one I can leave it plugged in as it has a power switch, i can turn it off after shutting off the Prius.

I would totally agree with you on this.
I am sure I used this twice (the first time playing with different things and the second was the final) all inside of a week.
Come to think of it, I replaced my battery months ago and the setting may have gone back to default (I don't remember what it was).
Man, now I got to find my OBD adapter.
Carista app is on my iPhone... hidden somewhere...

Does this app cover codes dealing with the inverter/synergy drive and it's individual components?

Look above your comment. I posted screen shots of the exact options that are available for my 2010.
