Car powered off and won't turn back on. Was stranded on the side of the road at midnight.

    yes I may not have the plus.

    last time I used them my dash lit up like crazy flying down the highway.

    I pulled over...no coolant moving in the inverter reservoir. Got 80,000 miles out of that pump. I was in a bad neighborhood deep in the hood where I pulled off the Interstate so crawled it about 5 miles till I got to my job and had it towed home from there.
    Home was 20 miles away and it was a hot day.

    Having a tow plan is a great idea.

    I never had one when I was younger. Now that I'm older it just makes sense.

    I have mine through my car insurance. (pay $38/year to cover 2 vehicles)

    And I work closer than 15 miles which is the coverage limit.


    AAA has the following:
    AAA Membership benefits
    The classic plan is 5 miles and is $62/year
    You pay an initial fee and a yearly fee but it does come with other discounts.
