    Even the Canadian accent had been much Americanised over the past few decades. I noticed a lot of "east-beound" or "west-beound" traffic reports on the radio lately.

    On the other hand, I've heard traffic reports like "Traffic on I-80 is, like, totally hosed, so deke out around it, or go wait it out at Timmy's, eh?"
