That's a downer. Again, assume US cents? Ours is:

first tier: 7 cents (rough conversion to USD, typ) (for first 666 kWh)
    second tire: 11 cents

If you're careful, it's not hard to stay 100% in first tier. Our live at home son keeps kicking us into tier two a bit these days. :(

    I don't believe there's a time-of-day factor.

There's about $8.50 in "cover charges" monthly, charges you incur regardless.

Yes Aussie dollars. That's what we pay our bills from - they don't like € or £ or $US.

Our cover charge is close to $1 per day. From memory, PEAK is 6am to 9am, and 5pm to 8pm. NIGHT is about 11pm to 5am. And the rest is - in between price.

Ah ok. Current USD conversion for you is 0.68, so 13.1 and 22.4 cents in USD, getting up there.

It was as low as 0.9% for the 2018s when the 2019s came out around May. I'm at 1.9% for my 2018 bought in Jan plus a dealer discount.

So, A$0.19-0.32 is actually not a whole lot more than what we see in Austin TX. In our particular case though, with fairly small house (1300 sq.ft. = ~120 sq.m), it doesn’t go much above A$0.25 (again, it’s tiered).

We’re thinking about getting a larger house though, which definitely would increase that, to where your A$0.32 number may not be way off. We intend to get solar panels though.

In my previous comparison, I said that in the winter “it” goes down quite a bit. I should clarify: By “it,” I meant that our electric bill goes down considerably. Our rate, however, doesn’t go down much from US$0.13.

    Wow... inventory has caught up.

Toyota Canada is offering 0.49% for the 2020 Prius Technology AWDe but 1.99% for the Prime.
