Can you get a 2015 Plug-in Prius outside of California

it's easier to find a pip outside cali, than it is the o/p.

 

How are warranty repairs handled when you have a PiP in state where they are not normally sold?
Is there factory training required to service a PiP ?

And for the record, Volt's can be found at similar prices to PiPs, counting the tax incentives.
And remember, MPG is a meaningless number for these cars. It is Cost/Mile that matters.
And everyone has different driving patterns (%Gas/EV). I'm at 66%EV.

 

you can get warranty in all 50 states, and 99.9% of the pip is the same as lift back. i don't know if there's required training, but, between the symptoms and codes, toyota can walk them through repairs if necessary.

 

When we see the PiP sales for Jan_2015 gotta be 90% CA only I would think

...could be...we get the official 2014 numbers for CA around 14-Feb-2015. But it was running 50% of PHEV were sold in CA for the first 3 quarters. Many of us suspect PiP is >50% but we do not have the data from Toyota....alls we know is total PHEV
