Can someone tell me what this "shadow" is, in my headlight beam?

    I have the same issue with dark spots on my beam pattern also. They are amazingly annoying. Took the headlights off to examine what the issue is. I think the issue is due to the chrome peeling off on the inside of the bowl due to age.
