Can someone please explain this?

    Then how come some of the manhole covers are completely flat and cause no problems for the suspension while the other 99% are very deep and will damage the suspension/structure overtime.

    Somehow, the idea of bad roads in a city with so many politicians and lawyers and lobbyists, just doesn't surprise me at all. It's really not reasonable to expect those clowns to get anything right. You wouldn't expect orangutans to built a skyscraper that does not fall over. How can you expect lawyers to run a city and have good roads?
