Yep, genuine sheepskin seat covers are extremely comfortable and look good as well as keeping the original upholstery original for good resale value.

Here is a photo of mine.....and yes, OZ Prius drivers enjoy a height adjustable driver's seat, too. Even better.

I have always thought that driving on sheepskin covers would be fun to do nekkid.

G'Day beeawwb, and welcome to PriusChat - another Prius owner in Adelaide! Where abouts do you live (Just general vicinity, I'm not trying to stalk you) and what colour is your car?

I've got some custom ship-skins on order through Autobarn. I've had to get custom seat-covers to avoid covering the seat airbags. The order has been delayed a bit due to the Christmas shut down, but they should be any day now!

I ordered quite a few things from Sleeka - Mudflaps, Window Visor, Side-Window Cover Things, Side Moldings, Boot Protector Thing and a Boot Net. I haven't got them all fitted yet, but they should look great.

    Enjoy the car

    :)

Sorry Doc but it seems to be pretty universal :))
I heard the seating engineer's grandmother lived in Nagasaki in the 40s.
Seriously though you get the cheapest Prius in the world, most likely cheaper than in Japan so you can't have cheap and height adjustable seats.

I will soon be a New Zealand owner, well, in 6 weeks. I don't know, I just ordered my car yesterday and it seems to be taking forever to get here. I am quite a techno freek so can't wait to start playing with the gadgets it offers. I have rung Toyota here in Gisborne to ask them some questions but they seem pretty unknown on the subject. There are apparentely only 2 Prii in the region, mine will be the third!!

    Choice!
    Welcome to PC Seanies Prius.
There are a few kiwis here, not just Aussies.
I've seen a few others (Prii) out your way, but I suppose
they could have been visitors. Hope yours arrives soon.

SeaniesPrius, Hope you have got your car by now and are watching the road rather than the screen!

I got my Prius 2 years ago and would go days without seeing another. Now here in Wellington they are everywhere, esp now the Taxi companies are buying them.

You know they are getting common when there are 3 in a row driving down The Terrace.

    Hi all...
Just wondering if anyone has tried mods such as Lockpick to get rid of the 'I agree' message from the Nav, or any of the mods to allow video to display on the screen?. No one seems to know if any of the US based mods would work on the Aussie model. These mods aren't cheap to find out it wont work here...

    Thanks

we have just returned from a 3week 4 state road trip in our 05 prius. we saw 6 other prii, (3 in melb). snow chains were used in tasmania on the very steep/icy/snowy road into ben lomond . we averaged 4.8 l/100k . overall a great trip and reinforced my love for this car.

And how many points are the All Blacks going to lose by? The Wallabies are on a roll - Ireland, France (twice) and then the Springboks.. Now to bury the ABs:D

I figure we win either way.
The Wallies win, its because of their kiwi coach.
ABs win, well, its because we have the better team.

I'm starting to see more and more Prii around Melbourne now. There are a couple of regular ones I see and usually at least 1 random a day now.
