    Going with the factory stalk switch. Ordered it yesterday. May go with an h11 yellow hid.

    My Prius C three is scheduled to arrive at Port Newark Friday May 18. Should be ready for delivery the following week.
    I've got to have the Fog's. Buying the "C three" was the only way to get the 15" alloy wheels that were supposed to be standard on the C4.
    The dealers prices for the Fog Lamps and covers (bezels) came to $468 before tax.
    They will usually give me 10-20% off the list price.
    If I am able to get the 20% discount, it would be about $421 pre-tax.
    I would really appreciate your prices.

    Under 300 for bezels and lamps,98 for the stalk. Going with yellow led projector bulbs 40 to start. 438 total. The lamps are plastic so watch your wattage so you don't melt anything. The bulbs that come with the lamps are 19 watt.

    looking at LED bulbs for the fog lights. The book says H16 and an H16 19w bulb is what the one inside the light has writen on it. But it looks like an H11 I tried the H11 in it and it kinda fit anyone else have any experience? Mostly was wondering about wattages don't want to get too hot, but with LED would I not have to worry about that problem.

    yea.. when i ordered mine.. the parts guy said there were only 3 available in stock throughout the entire country.. i was able to score one of them and mine arrived in only 2 days.. :p

    i was expecting it to arrive in like.. 2 weeks.. like.. hmm.. that kinda messed up my modding schedule.. lol. whoops... oh well.. not complaining :rolleyes:

    Trying to understand something, Do you need the stalk to turn on the fog lights or if the lights are on the fogs are on? (I have the 3)

    Also any chance anyone know if someone is working on something like the OEM Quality fog light kit (prius 3 gen) for the C?

    Your c3 is prewired. Yes, you can order the stalk with the fog switch built in for around $100. You have to remove the steering wheel.

    H11will fit but keep in mind the bulbs that come with the lights are 19watt. 50wh11will probably melt the housings. H11 led is a good alternative

    The Bulb is an H16 19w thats what it says, got the bulb in front of me only have the right fog light right now waiting for the other side and the stalk, but this is whats printed on the back
    OSRAM

    Thats all being said an H11 will fit in it but like its been posted before a 55w will likely be too hot and melt the housing.
    I have not been able to find H16 bulbs on the internet the ones I find are the 5202 which are fog lights for GM vehicles and have a diffrent fittings on them. Also not able to find anything on Sylvania's website. I will look through some catalogs at work tommarow to see if I can find a replacement bulb but its odd not being able to find a replacement.

    The wiring all exists in the car but in order to turn the fog lights on once installed you need a stalk with fog lights, or a switch or jump the headlight wire to the fog lights wire. The wires both exist in the wiring harness in the column but the fog light wire is not hooked up on any models except the 4 with a fog stalk.

    Thats the one I keep on finding online but this is the one thats actualy in the OEM housing

    The bulb looks like an H11 and the H11 does fit into the housing.
