Buying used Prius 2006 from private 96000 miles. What should I expect?

    Thanks for your tips! We ended up buying the 2006 Prius with 96000 miles. It is in a pretty good condition & the owner dropped the price ($1500 less then advertised - which is also according to kbb value). So we are really happy!:)

    Thank you for your reply. I agree on not buying used cars from dealers (it is a mean business & they'll do anything to sell you what they have to sell). We bought the 2006 prius III 96000 miles. The previous owner was really nice & friendly & even dropped the price $1500 less than advertised. Really happy to be a prius owner now!:)

    This has got to be the most freak coincidence ever. You and another member buying an 06 with 96k miles. Both with $9500 asking price and both got $1500 off. Both of you bought almost the exact same time. This cannot be 2 different transactions. ..... Just can't be.
