Well, we clearly have a difference in the way we handle matters that relate to the court and I've only had to do it once. so... tell me, what is it about me that really grinds your gears? Is it that I lifted my Prius or put All-Terrain tires on it? Help me understand what it is I've done to deserve the attention of John Smith?

hahahahaha! Attitude, coming from the most sarcastic and demeaning poster on this forum is funny.

You do know at any given moment the world can change in a heartbeat right? One day a company could be shipping products out to customers within a week or two then bam... COVID... or others can occur which slows production which then impacts delivery times.

You can have expectations and feel like because of my "attitude" you wont buy, thats your prerogative, you don't see me around these parts begging you or others to buy. I can care less, what I do care about is my character and how people think it's okay to make assumptions and allegations about me with no valid proof other than their words, the words of others, and filled with the court paperwork which was dismissed!

My attitude is I'm from Los Angeles, South Central to be exact and I stand 6'2" with a commanding presence in real life. I am not about someone speaking on my name with false statements at all! I will also gladly meet anyone to discuss how they feel what they've read on the internet makes me out to be a criminal or scammer!

True, the lawsuit is completely unrelated to PriusOverlanding. But it is character reference for what you get when you deal with black_jmyntrn / Duwayne McClendon.

Taking advantage of Elan, who loved you, by ripping off her identity and leaving her with $22K in charges to deal with is despicable. That grinds my gears, as it would anyone with a moral compass.

 

I think you might have forgotten that there’s a few of us here who deal directly with all the same vendors and previous fab shops you had to help create and fulfill your products who know how everything went down and the Truth about your situation right? I’m just sitting here watching this shit show keeping my mouth shut wondering when it’s going to stop. I wish you took all this posting and defending energy and used it towards your business, seriously, I believe you are capable of creating great things for the Prius Community but shit. Heart felt message here. You even came into my office and asked me "What should I do about this online predicament" and what advice did myself and my co-workers give you that lasted all of about 12 hours? If you leave the thread and stop posting, it will die down and these guys won't have any more fuel. I personally don't care about previous lawsuits or names or ex wives, all I can speak on is what I know about the past 2 years..I will reserve that for now. I'm also hoping I misunderstood Jack about the battery situation you all had agreed upon, but he did you a big favor.

Prius Chat I would guess is supposed to be a place where other Prius owners would help each other
with problems with each other's cars and chat about prius stuff. Sadly, like every other chat program
it's turned into a bashing board.

That lawsuit is not available *anywhere* online. The copy you posted has the court's "file stamp" which only copies sent to the parties have.

I think you know Elan, she told you about her relationship with black_jmyntrn, and she gave you a copy of her lawsuit against him. Is that right?

 

The interesting part is, if me telling Prius camper he lied about me which sparked all this is fanning the flames then if that's your definition so be it.

Separately, it has been remarkable all of this really. The assumptions and judgments that have been typed out online are pretty astonishing. It's as if you don't know there are many people who've received parts from my company quickly. Many people who I even sent to you all often.... you know the growing number of my supporters dont post online. They read tho.. Just sounds like you might think you know more at this point and don't know a lot at the same time for we haven't talked in months. If you thought the worst then maybe you didn't see me for me like so many others and see where this train is going.

So nah... I'll remain transparent and I'll remain defending my name while posting all the new and existing things that are being done with the Prius. Sure I may have stumbled a little in the beginning just had to learn the ropes, but now I see why most dont go this route and fear the big bad internet.

plus, time will tell all and unravel all things. The thing is Dogman, like I tell the rest, everyone who has met me understands my passion and the thought if I can think it it can be done one way or another. The thought of not letting the blockers that held back any performance-related Prius upgrades of the past dictate where and what a Prius can do here in the future with all of the new Hybrid technology that's releasing now. I just have to get the rear subframe in for the larger electric motor before November. All this jazzhands about me have slowed things down tremendously and it's been a KTLO year. I fear some have thought it was the end and done but they were wrong in that assumption.

 

I guess you see what you want to see. I'm responsible for what I say and not how you understand it. I'm flawed for sure as perfection is something we can never have only always strive for it. Plus, I know I'm not gonna win everyone's heart, that's not why I'm here. I'm here to help others think outside the box about what they can do with a Prius! Maybe you dont know the number of new owners and old owners who have a refound love for the Prius and modifying it after being inspired by me. I say that humbly as I never expected the amount of attention from my little Prius honestly.



I ran out of tracking dots a few months ago and haven't done a lot of scanning. someone gifted me these new magnetic ones yet they haven't arrived yet. Once I get all of this scanned in then I can finish getting the AWD rear end in. I am very tempted to have the rear height adjustable it is just, that I would want the front end adjustable as well, all remotely from inside the vehicle. The thought is, that when I attempt the hybrid max motor swap, I think that's when the front suspension would have to be completely redesigned around the motor and it would be adjustable then.

That’s a ridiculous statement. No one is posting this stuff because they are jealous of your car. Is this really the hill you’re going to die on and how your past, present and likely not future customers will remember you by is answers like this? I can’t in good faith even be neutral anymore and hint at being in someone’s corner with childish answers like this. Wth? I’m out… have fun. Nah B! I'm not built that way. I don't run, hide, or cower. I mean, one would think, that if I was hiding something or didn't want people to know my past, I would've had my Facebook name spelled as Duane! Or no, a generic name like John Smith(no pun intended) or something.

Humans have this innate ability to provide their opinion to other humans, in their mind their opinion is the only truth and the only path that will gain the outcome that the listening person wants or needs. It's as if no one person can just keep their opinion to themselves as, what one may believe is the way to win the race, only time will tell how the goal is achieved and I need to look up the statistics but... I feel like in general, not everyone's opinion is 100% spot on all of the time... One study concluded, “giving advice increased a sense of power for the participants". That to say, if you feel empowered good sir by your comments then, I am happy to have empowered you!

I stopped giving advice a long time ago, the majority of the time, the one we give the advice to may not have asked for it at the time we started delivering what we believe is the way to go. For me, I know I don't know everything and I'm sure as heck not perfect but what you won't find me doing is telling anyone how to manage their life or business.

Previous message, you can’t even use the word Selfish there.
