I repeat, "... just because someone types their opinion doesn't make it facts."

Your feedback will be taken into consideration.

As with life, nothing is perfect, one has to adjust and ensure mistakes aren't repeated. You live, you learn and you get to ensure you don't make the same mistakes twice is how I see it. You saw the prime example a few months back regarding when the shades would be in stock and my words here, I had to not tell you when as I didn't want to be inaccurate and not back up a promise.

You know, I never took your words here, or Reddit to be attacking in any shape or form. For that, you are more appreciated than you know. I don't plan on having you frustrated for much longer and can promise your next order will be shipping in 24-48 hours from the date of purchase of in-stock items. We had growing pains and the lack of an organized system to keep track of promises, and notes, and manage incoming customer communications wasn't in place until earlier this month. Thank you, good sir, for being a compassionate customer, your trust won't be in vain nor go un rewarded for sticking with me through some of these hurdles to pop up during this marathon! #TheMarathonContinues

The outwardly bashing and name calling is what gets me as well, in the beginning, it got to me but these days after hearing from many supporters that in business there is no avoiding customer complaints. I could've done many things differently and better yet, nothing I can do will ever have someone not complain and leave their emotions in their typed words on a screen. The constant push these days, do not repeat the same mistakes again!

You know, the best part of the internet is it allows people to be anonymous and utilize their right to free speech. Most like yourself choose to not use words in a productive to society manner, a decent human when they see someone stumbling or falling would want to help not laugh or kick them when down. I do thank you for your time, I know it's invaluable and so far you've given a good amount of yours to me which... makes me blush, I am flattered. Best to you sweet cheeks!

I learned yesterday of a friend of mine being scammed (by some other person, not present company). This after a very recent scam attempt on a family member (who has been taken by several in the past).

I look forward with faith and hope to some future day when talk of scammers and scamming won't be necessary or "productive to society" any longer.

Until then, what might be more unproductive to society is failing to talk about it enough.

The problem, at least how I see it... people have been scammed so much, over and over. The rightfully so fear of it happening again is terrifying and can blind those in their view of another company or person as being a scam when in reality that's so far from the truth.

Just how far it is from the truth seems to be the question under consideration in this very thread.

I haven't ordered anything from the business under discussion, so the question can't be settled on my say-so.

I feel.. in time, all will see my true intentions and know they are honest and from a heart that just wants to help folks! You'll also see that once i learned to ride this stallion called business ownership, there will be no question on my legitimacy and drive to improve.

I wouldn't be a good businessman if I didn't see or try to see the truth in words posted, no matter how harsh anyone may think they are. That has been on my mind all these months as there is no right or wrong for me only how can I learn and improve!

edit: Truth in the sense of lacking in customer service. :) something that was never in my initial plans while I drive a Prius around the world.

With no response for a couple of weeks, if anyone else is interested in these shades at HALF PRICE (plus actual shipping cost to wherever you are) leave a reply here. Description at: Toyota Prius Window Sun Blackout Shades (priusoverlanding.com)

Almost brand new -- used only for a photo shoot (as seen above).
Note: link above calls them "blackout shades" but they are "room darkening" NOT "blackout shades."
My promise to you is shipping two days after payment accepted or you can have them for FREE. My word is my bond.

Clarification here... Your perception creates your reality.

Reality excludes perception, in other words, we believe what we perceive to be accurate and we create our own realities based on those perceptions. I find that people really believe their perceptions and use the internet to share their perceptions...

That said, you are the only one to say they are not blackout shades, one would believe if your perception was reality, many many people all over the world would be stating the same as you, yet they aren't. I actually attempted to find reviews on the shades as they are sold worldwide and for some reason... you are the only one with this belief. Can you help me understand why this is?

Thanks -- that's what Basil_Leaf said also -- who knew? I had trouble finding what to change -- maybe this is it:

To be clear, these shades you have for sale are not from priusoverlanding/black_jmyntrn but are the same product you bought from a UK supplier?

Correct -- received quickly and with no drama from blinds4cars in England NOT black_jmyntrn. But they have the same supplier and are the same product (see post #117).

Interestingly, blinds4cars now has a disclaimer on its website for this product that they do NOT block all light.
Perhaps black_jmyntrn will now claim that blinds4cars is lying.

But if someone wants them at half price plus actual shipping, hit me up with a private ,message (which now works).

wow...pretty crazy price.....nice that they match the interior, but I think I'd be using cardboard trimmed to fit and a can of spray paint, lol.

Well, clearly you are lying.. where are such words on the blinds4cars site? this screenshot just taken?

Now I wonder if those are the same shades after all... what website link are you looking at? are you sure you know what you are talking about, at least you could've posted a screenshot, or are people just to believe your words because you typed them?

LOL!!!! Yes, in that screenshot. The description says, "They block around 90% of light"
So 10% of light gets through. Kinda different than your repeated claim, and I quote, "no light gets through whatsoever."

And good luck on trying to now claim that you have a different supplier since you have already admitted that you have the same supplier -- see post #167.

"no light gets through whatsoever" is a much different claim than "they block around 90% of light." One is accurate. One is a demonstrably false (see pix above).

Dude, I'm done here. Feel free to get in the last word.

(Still available via PM if anyone wants at half price!)
