In norcal just got a Prius Two with all weather mats for $18.225+TTL at Capitol Toyota. They let me pick out of any of the couple dozen they had but said they are going quick and not many more 2015s will be coming in. My sales guy was straight up and didn't try to sneak anything in, $7K off MSRP (including $3K rebate)

That is a great deal luckyboy. Is this in San Jose? That deal is a little over a 1k difference than what I see in SoCal. Who is the sales person? Let me get his/her number. I would definitely take a little trip up there to save 1k. Btw, this dealership has horrible ratings online.

I can PM you the sales guy info. It seems with all the high volume dealers there are split reviews, either 5 star or 1 star. My experience was great, very efficient and by the book, no hard sale to buy anything extra. They only offered house rates (3.99% for 60 months with over 800 credit) but I will be refi'ing this week with my credit union (1.75% 60 months). Funny you should mention So Cal as this purchase was for my parents living in the LA area and they are driving it back down

luckyboy, I would also like the information regarding your contact person at the Capitol Toyota dealership. I am looking to purchase a Prius Two as well around that price range.

How did you contact them and how were you able to convince them to add the all-weather mats?

Hey, I clicked on that advertising link, and it just listed a lot of Prius 2 with a 22k price tag. Did you get any other discounts? I looked on Truecar, which is pretty good, and it was averaging 19k plus. You beat them by 1k. That is an awesome deal you got. Btw, did you have to go through their finance department?

there was a link on capitol toyota's website offering $7k inventory reduction ($4k discount plus $3K rebate) on prius two. I did go through their finance depart with 4% temporarily as I will refi with my credit union this week at 1.75%. They would have taken cash/full payment for the same deal.

The link is still there under Specials -> $7000 Reduction on MSRP 2015 Prius II" (Can't post URL's yet as I just joined the forum hence in a probationary period.)

On Sunday, October 18, I joined the hybrid club by bagging a red 2015 Prius II for $20,537 OTD with all weather mats & wheel locks at this dealer. I worked with Danh Tran from Direct Sales. They had a quite a few II's on the lot and other dealers in the area have large inventories.

I purchased a 2011 Prius 2 for about 24,000 in Sept 2011. It has been a great car that I recently drove cross country. Just purchased a 2015 Prius 2 for $5500 less than the cost of the 2011.

I may have been interested in a 2016 but did not find the update compelling and the payback on the added 5mpg was something like 50 years to break even.

We are keeping the 2011 in the family

Unfortunately, the $3000 rebate only applies to California residents. I live in Nevada, where the rebate is only $2000. Even if I buy a car in California, I will only qualify for a $2000 rebate. Meh.

We got our car from socal near L.A at Manhattan Beach Toyota, GREAT DEAL,

A NEW silver 2015 Prius II msrp $25260 for $21957.07 before any incentives plus the $500 amazon gift card

which means if you want to pay cash, you get $3,000 incentive, that's $18957.07 + tax and license

and we decided lease, 3 years, 15k miles, $0 out of pocket only 35 payment of $225 per month including 9% L.A tax
if you go for 12k miles, it's only $210 with tax

we compared to about 15 toyota dealers including carson, NO ONE is willing to touch that price and said that I was lying or totally just ignored me, I attached a PROVE to show you that the price we got is REAL

I felt that I maybe was able to push the deal even cheaper but I thought that was good enough, but any of you guys can try to go deeper

Manager name is Tracy and he is the only guy who can do this kind of low great price
Tell him that John referred you and he'll give you best low deals (310)227-7195
