Sticking your head in the sand does not make reality go away.... I"m still here and you have only proven you deal with your problems by ignoring them.

If you don't like what I say you can choose to ignore and you will miss valuable angles of thought that may help you assimilate reality better.

This was your very first post.. so no telling who you really are.

I'm sorry you see my words as so personally threatening, and just because you have issues does not ruin it for everyone else.
Everyones opinion and contribution is valued when its honest and constructive.... I estimate your presence would have be destructive anyway with that comment you decided to make as your "very first post"!

I'm amazed you went to the trouble to join just to quit!.. I hope the other ventures in your life fare better or you will never be profitable and accomplish anything you can be proud of!

You have only showd character flaws to behave the way you have and have hurt no one but yourself.

Hopefully some day, you won't be so closed minded.... its just a plate for pete's sake....

If you don't like it... then don't like it.. but getting together in asmall group and hyping yourself up against a product because someone stepped on your pride and then posting it online is only immature behaviour that hecklers and adolescents enjoy doing just to get attention....

    So stop showing your age!

Hello Norton and welcome to PC!! :)

Windstring definately has a style of his own but he is a huge contributor to PC and and does not hold back his feelings and beliefs when he posts which In my opinion is a good thing.

You of course are free to block anyone you wish but by doing this you are esentially censoring yourself and not allowing all views to be heard which is important when reading a forum such as this.

At any rate welcome aboard and I hope you enjoy your new Prius!!

If that's the case perhaps we can get Evan to merge the other thread into this one. Then our post counts would really go up!! :)

I would vote for that! Then we can set our sights on 800 posts.... Out of curiosity, how high has a thread gotten in replies as well as views on PC?

Before I would ever consider the BT Plate for use as a drink coaster, I would have to see scientific proof that the plate could handle the load! BT Tech should do some testing before anyone of us should ever consider using the plate in an untested fashion. :p

I agree.. how do we know it would work?.. it could be 165.00 down the drain and I would have to hold my coffee between my legs! LOL!

We need to have a warranty too, incase the acids in the coffee eats into the plate... how do we know the coating will last?.... What about this, what about that, how do we know....., can you prove....

Geeze!......I guess when the tons of people come out here and say how they love the plate and think its worth the money means nothing at all?..... It makes people feel why even contribute thier comment?... it will not be believed anyway....

this is almost as bad as the feeling you get when you go to the voting booth.

    Thanks, Brian.
I'll tell you what... I'll bet'cha 10 bucks off the cost of the BT plate when I order it that WS just called me at least one name, praised himself and cast me into one of his infamous "them" categories. Meh, I'll live on the edge and try to get by without his input. Wish me luck.
I'll be sure to post back with my observations after install, though it may be a couple weeks.

Didn't Brian post a disclaimer about unintended uses (that the purchaser is on their own)? If he didn't, then he should.

    Hello again Norton,

Well.... Now that we have our BT Tech plate being installed on dogs, airplanes, bicycles, walkers, wheelchairs and being used as beverage holders, we are going to have to put just a few discaimers in our instructions now!! :) :)

Norton, I have one better, if you can find where I called you a name, I'll apolgize!

I did imply you stuck your head in the sand, but I never used the word "Ostrich!"

And I implied you were acting the same way adolescents do who stir up trouble for attention?

If you look at post 639, this is our first dialouge where you posted and got our rosey relationship off to a wonderful start....

So if you can't stand the heat, don't bite off more than you can handle and throw gas and light a match like you did and quit feeling sorry for yourself and try to realize that your own actions brought this upon you.

Your daddy is not out here to protect you for misbehaving.. you are responsible for your own misbehavings and treating people rude and without respect. No one is interested in saving you.

I never started or picked a fight with you.... you must be used to picking on people that don't fight back?... thats the attribute of a bully that only fares well when all his friends back him up, but is a whimp alone....... but remember.. I didn't call you that, I said thats the attributes!

I'm not sure if your own crack or you just hear voices?

Ah maybe so...But it was "ignore" where you stick your head in the sand so everything goes away....

What interesting is that he "ignored" me on 6/3/07 at 3:43PM, but he then addressed me again at 9:55 PM later that eve?...
His very first post out of the bag was contentious and I"m trying to figure out how in his second post he refers to one of my statements as being "infamous"...
how would he know that if he's brand new?...

My point is "he's not a newbie, but a plant to cause trouble"

So I guess this will be the end of this conversation.... he started it in post 639 and so graciously allowed me to finish it. :)

I'm still trying to figure out why I'm the bad guy for defending myself...

There is a difference in protecting a "victim" verses a bully. Some people can't see the difference....

Just because a Bully looses the battle, that doesn't in turn make them the victim! "Speaking hypothetically of course"

So someone doesn't feel sorry for the passive aggressive behaviour of the "victim" as to continue this discussion... I will be mentioning it no more unless again provoked by the source.

LOL!..... If I was, I would have no real influence.... any more than Brian tooting his own horn.

I'm just a guy who bought two plates and liked the heck out of them.

I didn't or never tried to cramm my feelings down anyones throat nor did I redicule anybody who questioned it.

I only expressed my enthusiasm about the plate and so I got attacked and so I defend myself.

I only defended Brian against those who claim unfounded facts against my very own feelings.

I''m not really defending Brian as much as I'm defending my own convictions.

Other people have the right to disagree or feel different, but they don't have the right to propose the plate as bogus based on thier fears and lack of understanding....and in turn say we are placebo induced zombies who are delusional.......... especially when they never bought it in the first place.

Now that I have placed that arguement on the table some time back... some have claimed to have purchased it and still don't like it... so be it...before them.. there was "no one" that purchased it that didn't like it at all!

I see no reason not to step in for what I believe in... its not fair to Brian to have jackals attack and question his integrity as if he is on trial when there are so many who already confirm his product is awesome and they won't believe them and so insult thier integrity too by thier not believing thier word.

If they don't like it, don't buy it and don't try to sway others against it?

This makes as much sense as those who don't believe there is a God, but yet go out of their way to convince others too?... why does it bother them?
Why are they not tolerant of other peoples views.....
Some of the most intolerant people are the ones who claim that others can't tolerate them!

I have never seem myself as an aggressor.. only a defendor...

Brian has a product worth defending against those who love to tear it down.

Whenever I keep silent, others step in and defend it just as rigorously.

I really don't know Brian, but since this thread I have gotten to know him just a little with coorespondence here.

He seems very fair and honest and puts allot of effort into his product and its a fine piece of work......

He should be proud of what he has contributed to PC and I'm sure he is.

I would if I were him I would! ..... and no I'm not Brian!...

Start at post 117 for WS's "defense" (known in the real world as OFFENSE)
He has NEVER shown where someone else claimed a fact (OK, there was ONE person who said the word "facts", but he was referring to the "fact" that a toyota certified tech believed the plate didn't work. It is fact provable by everyone at that meeting. The "fact" was not that it does not work, but that this was the tech's opinion.) Everyone else has expressed opinions, not facts, and not aimed at WS or any other plate owner.

This is the crux of WS argument that he rants over, and over again. If you didn't buy it, you don't deserve to have an opinion on whether you should buy it... He must've said this at LEAST twenty times in this current thread.

Wrong. Darrell bought his a long time ago, didn't think it helped.

    look in the mirror

there are pages of rude comments here that beg to differ

yet, they all manage to do it much more politely.

If I were Brian and WS DID work for me, I'd fire him. There have been many people turned off by his attitude.
