I thought that it would be better to post this here that to respond to each individual PM that I have received.

Do you know about how many you have sold so far?.. if you care to share?

I've been following these since Nov 05 and they have been selling like hotcakes every since then... I bought two myself!

It would be interesting how many are out there!

 

I would have to check our records but it would be suffice to say that there are quite a few Prius' out there with our stiffening plate attached to them.

I was pulling into a parking lot the other day and parked just 3 cars down from me was another Prius. I just had to neil down and take a look to see if it had one of our plates on it and sure enough there it was!!

I waited around for a few minutes for the owner to come back to their car but it was getting late and I had to go and finish up my shopping!!

Hm, I have no doubt that this plate would help in handling, but it is expensive though for just a small plate. May look into it sometime next month when I get my Prius.

It looks pretty simple, but its very light and machined out of a solid piece of high quality aluminum.

You may be able to make your own, but it may rust unless you use something that won't rust, but it's hard to find that without it being too weak.

If it flex's, your no better off than you were.

I know it sounds like alot of money when its not included in the loan, but anything on a car will cost...even a decent license plate cover is 20.00.

I figure, some things are worth being cheap on, others are not.. when it affects the whole car, I'm into "not" being too cheap..... you may have to wait till your in the mood.. it sounds like he is almost out of this production anyway till he gets another.
