Brake vibration, not rotors.

    You're welcome. .009" is way too much runout.

    For measuring runout, I use 5 conical washers under the lug nuts. Then I install the lug nuts using an 80 ft-lb torque stick. Here is a short video clip that I made:

    +1. The upper limit in the manual is about 0.002".

    If you didn't happen to mark which way the rotor was on the hub, or if a piece of grot got in there, you can sometimes see a crazy runout like 0.009" and get it back down under 0.002" just by trying the four other possible positions of the rotor on the hub. Doesn't cost anything.
