Unfortunately the prime doesnt come in black ☻. My sis has the 3rd gen pri white as well. im thinking of also doing the roof black

 

Thanks! i was looking into the 4th gen in white too but i had to go with the prime just because the last new car i got was the 07 prius. huge upgrade. love the tint

 

The Prime is a great looking car! But I wish it could go 100 miles on a charge.

I also don't have any way to plug-in at home. I would have to go sit at Walmart, or the shopping mall and use their free re-charge stations. I think that would get old, real fast. I will have to be satisfied with my "old fashioned" regular Prius, that "only" gets 62 mpg around town. That's fine for a retired guy.

 

You can plug it into a "regular" 110V wall outlet. That's what I do at home.

Pretty sure they only have that gunmetal gray. at least here in the US. maybe 2018 will give us more color options. but i love my blizzard pearl white

 

I plug into my wall outlet n the garage. takes about 5hrs from empty to full. can also schedule the time for cheaper electricity rates

 

What part of California? The Bay Area has so many charging stations, which has resulted in a great deal of free charging for me. I find the chargepoint app to be more accurate and helpful than Toyota's Entune.

I obtain a free charge at the grocery store, in-town street parking, library, shopping mall, coffee shops.

 

How does it affect your electricity bill? Much of an increase?

 

I'm in the south/eastern part of LA County. We are not as progressive as you folks up there. I still have to buy a thing called "gas."

 

Not sure yet. ive only had the car since Saturday and only charged it twice since then. but based on my calculations it should be around $1-1.50 per charge. ill keep you posted once i get next months smud bill

 

Whaaaaa? Where'd the shifter go? I can't see it! IT'S GONE!!!! How do you know how to shift the car now?

 

The shifter is still Blue. On the North American Prime, there is white plastic under the Infotainment screen. My Prime looks like a European spec with black plastic, instead of white under the Infotainment.

 

I was kidding about the invisibility. It looks great without the porcelain treatment.
