20 mile aer erev phev, eAWD, with a super efficient 3 cylinder ice providing the power. I don't know if they will get there. An atkinson 4 might be a better choice as people don't seem to like 3 cylinders, but the 3 would be more efficient. bmw has given in and talked about fwd, to save space and weight. I would not doubt a lower cost awd 1 series with a 4 cylinder atkinson on the front transaxle (ZF 8 speed with 40kw motor), a 20 mile battery pack, and a motor in the rear for eAWD.
