@jejb, it should be fine and definitely looks nice. I have a blizzard pearl with black Clazzio kit. Underneath the covers are katskinz Leather Black and white that was too difficult to clean. Here’s what it would look like.... Before After You’ll like it.
I was worried about how the cloth interior on my '12 v Model Three would wear or spot what with 100 degree temperatures and a combination of sweat and sun screen. So I had a set of katzkin KZ-DKS P#T12FA Frost T#2954843 which are a light grey put on through the dealer who farmed the job out to a local auto upholstery shop. All seats and arm rests. Had a Toyota part number from Southeast Toyota as I recall. 45k later no marks and I'm not even sure I've even routinely cleaned them. I've had 2 thru 12 year old kids in the car so you know it got spills and dribbles. Granted that still leaves the doors in black for you. Not cheap but part of the deal as I didn't want any of the options going to a Model Five would bring (17", moon roof, etc).
Wow, two Blizzard/black interior v 5 ATP unicorns found in Portland. ☞2015 TOYOTA PRIUS V/ You Save $601 below KBB retail!☜ - cars & trucks - by dealer - vehicle automotive sale 2015 Toyota Prius V - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle automotive sale
I was going to do that too, for the mudflaps. But once I realized I'd have to cut in the middle as well, I figured I'd just remove it instead.
New owner here in the Sacramento area. Black color interiors are always going to get hot in the summer time. I just learned to live with it. When my 06 CRV was new, I used to take towels to cover the seats. My car is in the garage all the time, but will be outdoors when wife takes son to parks etc.
