Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? [ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blade_Runner]Blade Runner - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]
Okay, I came late to this thread. But... Am I the only one here who thinks it's totally sick and (pardon the expression) f***ed up that it's perfectly legal to stick a knife in a goat's belly, rip its guts out, throw it in a fire, and then eat it, but it's illegal to have sex with it ???!!!???!!!???!!!???!!! Cruelty to animals should be illegal. And that includes cruel forms of having sex. But when abattoirs are murdering hundreds of millions of animals a year for meat, it's more than hypocritical to want to jail some guy for smothering one by accident. It's all part of religion's asinine, idiotic, superstitious, and (yes!) f***ed up attitude towards sex.
I did a quick search for the topic of robot animals, and assume there hasn't been much coverage on PriusChat. Every hear of Boston Dynamics and the Big Dog? Boston Dynamics: The Leader in Lifelike Human Simulation Downright creepy how it reminds me of a lame horse. Towards the end of the video when it slipped on ice in the parking lot, that is *exactly* how I have seen a lame horse react to slipping on ice I guess the Terminator is pretty close to being in production if Boston Dynamics has a machine like that. I still hope they introduce a robot woman first. Can you imagine a robot woman run off a little 2 cycle motor? How would you explain that to the neighbors? "Well, gonna fire up the little lady" HUN-HUN-HUN! HUN-HUN! HUN-BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP! Just like firing up a chainsaw ...
Wow, this is fabulous. I had no idea the research had advanced so far. The motion and self-corrective behavior are very impressive. Now if they can get rid of that annoying two-stroke engine. Tom
