Best ND 11 alternative for AC compressor oil?

    You sure there is Freon in that system and the compressor is running? Both sides look to be around 50 psi.

    Absolutely has to be

    I drained the compressor to ten psi and added r134a until it was 50 psi

    It's holding at that

    I can absolutely hear the compressor too

    I remember another member having a similar problem. I believe he had a sheared impeller shaft. His AC motor still turned, the impeller didn't. The ND11 thing has been discussed before try searching the site. I know you mentioned you searched the site but the search engine here leaves something to be desired.

    I ordered some ND 11 equivalent off eBay

    So it sounds like it is the compressor

    It appears also if the high side is the same as the low that the compressor is most of the times the issue

    Lucky me I have one sitting in a box waiting to go in!

    Have you tried touching the high and low pressure lines under the hood (when Techstream is running the compressor)?

    Is the high pressure line (thinner line) hot?

    Is the low pressure line (thicker line) cold/colder?
