My first car was a VEGA (the worst car ever produced), but one always have an affection for his first love. It went 180,000 miles, which should have been in the record book. I think everything under the hood was replaced at least twice. I just traded in a 1994 Saturn stick shift, which I owned 16 years. What a great car it was! No problems in 210,000 miles and averaged 35mpg city/hwy. Why couldn't GM keep making them like this? Unfortunately, she developed quite a drinking problem over the years (oil). The dealer said I was trading in a horse and buggy for my new Prius, and I love it! What a fun car to drive, and I average 50mpg
