Well, washed my car, but didn't notice the letters anymore. I didn't want to take too much time to look for them, as it was really warm and the water was starting to spot up on my car. Oh well...mystery continues...
Busted. :hat: I'm really here undercover investigating reports that prius owners are aliens trying to invade us and challenging the "way we have always done things". You just made my day. No one is going to be able to wipe the silly grin off my face now! Thank you!! :bounce:
waving hand in air OK -- what do I win if I know exactly what you're all discussing. I'd tell you.... but what do I win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?:bounce:
Based on the number of responses, apparently not much. Octavia hasn't recovered from DeanFL's post yet. . . . Do tell us . . .
When a dealership doesn't use an ammonia based window cleaner to take the GREASE PEN off the windows, you end up with whatever was scribbled on the window at the transport yard or port still showing for aeons... especially when it's foggy or muggy and the glass shows everything. The ports write things all over the windows, mostly for the truckers to have direction as to what cars are ready, what truck gets the cars.... and you have some detail/car cleaning guys who don't use the proper stuff to completely clean the windows. If you were to take some ammonia based cleaner or even glass wax and polish this area, it'd be gone!
Sure, and you probably tell little kids about the 'real' Santa Claus too. :nono: (Would be a good way to get back at a nasty customer - write something XXXX backwards on the windshield, wipe it off with non-ammonia stuff. Wait till the windshield fogs up and see his face). Shouldn't give you any ideas.
Oh dear. I hate to admit, been there and done that. (Years ago of course)... these days I'm pretty cool. I've gotten better about wanting to get even.
