Korean War vintage jet. U.S. Marines. (The forgotten war.) Thank you ALL Veterans!! We will NEVER forget.
Man, you're behind the drag curve! Mine is still at sea, somewhere between the land of the rising sun and Bristol, UK. Estimated arrival at dealer's is some day before mid November. I'm only on here to ensure you don't eat too many burgers with large fries while chastising us mere mortals. ROFL! I'm showing as a Prius 3 which I'd your nearest to our Business Edition which is the one I'm getting. Can't wait as the price of UK gas is going up by 5p/litre, = ~ 2.28 cents a g us gallon. All to do with us getting out of Europe and the £$ exchange rate falling briefly. BTW, Cornwall is the westernmost county of England almost completely surrounded by water. The river Tamar to the east is our only land border with the neighbouring county - Devonshire. To the north is the Bristol channel, the English channel to the south and the great pond(Atlantic) to the west
Sounds like a beautiful area. I got the great pond (Pacific) to the south, and "thug-ville" crime-infested areas to the west, and some in the north... But going east is nice. What color Prius did you order, RCO? And why does petrol cost so much in the UK?
Thanks buddy. It's fine here year round but we get inundated with holidaymakers in the summer. There are just 2 main roads into the county and one slow main railway line and one ex-RAF airport. Your climate sounds more appealing than ours, for vacations anyway. Getting the red Prius and happy to chat here before and after it arrives.
This all I have on my "dashboard." Gas gauge & speedometer. And compass with the name of the street. (I'm an old guy. I had to eliminate all the other distractions. I even turn off the big black Darth Vader screen. Only turn it on when using the Nav.)
That looks OK. I may stick with the bling displays awhile to see what's what, but there's no nav on the UK Biz Edn. Gonna use my phone or tablet with Waze or G Maps
That looks pretty boring, doesn't it??? I can turn the "bling" and the wiz-bang back on. And fire up Darth Vader again. It's nice that there is many options. I can't see what the MPG is... And I can't see the hybrid indicator. I'm going by "engine sound" only. I'm just playing a game. When I refuel, I'll turn the MPG display back on, and see how I did.
Flying blind CC, I love it, I might try it myself on the next fill up. I remember in the early days of my motoring past, before sat navs and when road maps were quite expensive, we used to use road signs to navigate and a trusty aftermarket compass stuck on the dash. We do have cheese burgers over here, as well the big two, Burger King and MacDonalds, every Indian and Italian takeaway sells them too.
