Be aware that the LKA in the latest release is not Autosteer (autopilot) If Autopilot is ON you will never see it ping-pong. If Autopilot is OFF and you have the LKA(activated to Assist) in settings, it will ping-pong. It is not intended to be active autosteer. LKA is a Safety feature added to the Fleet regardless of whether you purchased AP/FSD. I have EAP/FSD in my Model 3 Performance. It does Ping pong in LKA mode. It is just there to prevent crossing the lane line.
