Did anybody tried this mod on 2013? With or without native light sensor?

Haven't seen anyone post that they've tried it. I'd say it's still uncharted.

That's what I'm going to do. Sfv, did you install toggle switch which came with 545T, or found a better looking solution? And another question, where did you place light sensor?

I actually have a brand new Canadian stalk at home that I need to sell. It's applicable for the 2010-2011 Prius. I have no need for it in my 2013 Prius. I was going to use this to enable Auto headlights on my old car.

Yes, I did this on my Gen2

I used a LED on/off switch that fits into the blanks that I had found on eBay to replace the toggle switch. As for the sensor, I wedged it into the hole where the factor sensor would have been. I just knocked out the blank that was there.

Finally decided to install 545T, spent almost an hour taking steering column covers apart and installing module to find out two things:
1: Photocell doesn't work ( with photo sensor installed and placed under sunlight relay still shorted, if simulated with jumper after 30 sec relay open contacts. Wiper portion works as advertised)
2: Couldn't figure out which wires on stalk need to be tapped in, seems 2013 harness is different form 2010...
    Help?

Thanks everybody. I did figured it out, installed and now enjoying auto headlights on my 2013 Prius 3. I didn't install light sensor on dashboard, but instead I put it on the back of rear view mirror. A little less disassemble, and much better looks. Sensor completely invisible from inside the car, and hard to see from outside.
I ended up using both relays, one for parking lights, the other for headlights. It allowed me to use DRL as fog lights, independent from headlights.
I also added 12 volts delay relay found on eBay for $15 to stop 545t from activation if I just want to briefly clean windshield. System works just as advertised, however its a little too sensitive.
If anybody interested in details, feel free to ask.
    Thanks a LOT to OP.

Vitaliy, which 12V delay relay did you buy? One of the relays I used in my highbeam DRL mod had contacts that went bad. It lasted only 6 months, so it would be good to put a delay on the circuit for maybe 1 to 3 minutes so it doesn't keep turning on everytime I turn on the car in accessory mode to use the power windows or something.

I saw a lot of delay relays but they were all from China or the EU.

I ended up buying this one DRL Timer Switch 12A 12V Time Relay 3 110 Sec Delay on Running Car Daylights | eBay. There are plenty of other options, but make sure you searche for 12V Delay ON relay.
At first I did a mistake and bought 12v delay OFF relay, which works opposite from what we need (this one Directed 528T Dei 528T 12 Volt Pulse Timer with Adjustable Delay | eBay) It changes state immediately, but then there is a time delay before it's switching back.

I also want to rewire DEI 545T, so I have time delay not only on wipers, but for light sensor as well. After using the whole setup for a week now, I noticed that 545T sensor so sensitive it would turn headlights on when I'm passing under a tree, or driving under freeway. Default 5 sec delay seems just not to be a long enough, I think 60-90 seconds delay would be just perfect.
There is another idea I want to try..... the way sensor is working - it's shorted under bright day light, but then resistance increases as it gets darker. I'm thinking to play with different value resistors to slow down the process. Anyone with experience in electronics are more then welcome to chime in, any help on that would be greatly appreciated.

As far as installation goes.. I mentioned before, that I didn't take a risk and/or wanted to have sensor on front of my eyes all the time to take half of dashboard apart. I mounted it on rear view mirror, as seen on pictures. To do it all you need is pull down the cover next to map lights , remove driver door rubber seal, then open side airbag cover, remove bottom plastic cover to expose fuse box, and last - remove lower steering wheel cover.
I was wrong when I thought stalk connector on 2013 is different from 2010, i'ts exactly the same. So, I used pin 20 and pin 12 on L47 for headlights, and same pin 20 and pin 13 for parking lights. If you don't care to have DRLs on at the same time as headlights/parking lights you can you use only one relay, just as it explained in OP. But keep in mind, if you going OP road, and using only one relay and your stalk in DRL position 545T WILL NOT TURN PARKING LIGHTS ON, ONLY HEADLIGHTS WILL BE TURNED ON. If you using both relay as I did, you shouldn't worry about stalk position, you will get both headlights/parking lights on stalk OFF, or stalk DRL.

Vitaliy, thanks for the link to the timer relay. Just purchased one.

How long did it take to receive it? Saw that it is coming from Bulgaria, that's a first for me. ;)

I will probably set the delay to max duration, so I'm not worried about the setting being sensitive or touchy.
