Mine has been loose for over a year now. I just went over 40K miles. I guess, "you snooze, you lose!"
GT seat covers kit included an armrest cover, so it's well protected. I wish I could get a similar piese for each door's armrest, though.
ok i admit to being one of the lazy ones. i have about an inch that has worked loose and has been that way at least 3-4 months maybe longer. i doubt if i will have the dealer fix it...glueing it will take all of two seconds.
I voted no but now mine has started coming loose. I will talk to the service department about it next time I am in.
I just had mine replaced today at 23k miles. But in case it happens when I'm out of warranty, I'd better start looking at that extended warranty.
The same person on ebay that sells the console cover, also sells a set of 4 leather covers for the doors. http://motors.search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1Q...assZlindbergh61 It is kinda pricey at $84 after S&H. I would still like to get the whole set with the console, doors, glove box, display hood, etc, but probably not for awhile. Our console cover is still attached, although it is starting to get stained.
I've had my Prius for almost 2 years now and the fabric was coming up along the front edge. I just got an oil change and mentioned it to the dealer. They didn't glue it, but replaced the entire lid as it is still under warranty and they had the part in stock. Fabulous!
Some of the first accessories I bought for my Prius were the armrest and center console covers. Along with seat covers, to prevent everything from being covered in tar. The glue tends to wear out quickly on the leather covers.
Did you automatically get it or did you order it seperatly? Is just laying on your console or is it somehow attached to it? I heard someone say don't install Seat cushions because it would ruin your orginal seats?? Help!
Ok I see you answered my first question in my other post. Is there anywhere to order door armrest covers? Ok I see the door armrest was also covered now in this thread too!
