Are you happy with your pkg V??

love my package V... and for everyone who complains about the wheels, at worst case I am looking at losing $70/year as compared to 15" stockers.
That's hardly worth whining over considering I am saving 10x that by switching to a Prius. Not to mention that the handling and steering are awesome compared to other Prii I have driven...

 

I wouldn't drive any other version. Except the PiP.

 

Is the faster steering ratio that much of a difference in the Five verses the Two-Four? A Plus package will get better suspension than the Five has, but not the steering ratio change

I would so love to be testing out them springs tonight but butterfingers over here lost a socket. Guess my girl was starving for some metal. This sucks going to the auto store to grab a mirror. I suspect it landed in the radiator cover.

Did you get your car aligned?

 

The Plus package has the shorter springs & a rear swaybar along with the 17" wheels & tires. Does the Five have the rear swaybar from the factory?

If your talking about a Gen III then no. I'm not sure if the Prius V has a sway bar or not. I doubt it though. I installed my sway bar and it has really made a difference.

I have the same lower body detail and it makes my 5.V really stand out.

This is my first car with a leather interior and the bisque is looking as good as on the day I drove off the lot. Hope to one day take the plunge to do a woodgrain interior upgrade, I really love that look...

Yesterday afternoon I had half an hour to go from the westside to the east valley for work and got stuck in traffic the nav worked like a champ when I decided to go off the original route to get out of standing in line I got to drive through a very curvy and hilly road and it was soooo much fun! The package 5.V handled really well for me.

I love my 5.V more and more, I hate that the DMV crushed my dream plates but still am trying to dream up a fitting custom one...one day!

Otherwise, whether this package makes the little Prius ride more like a Lexus or an even more expensive make or not (I feel it does!) the package makes you feel like it is and that feeling is priceless.
