Are people allowed to test drive my car prior to pick-up?

My dealership here let me know when the car was fresh off boat and delivered, and nobody else touched it but me, because they knew I wanted it, and considered it sold, even though I didn't pay them anything down to reserve it. I don't know how tacky it is to mention dealership names here, but I'm new to this list, I just received my #2 08 Prius today (AND I LOVE IT!!!!!!!) and it was bought in south florida. Let me know if its OK to state where I bought it. I'm happy to say where because the service was the best out of all the local dealerships.
