If you commit to run, I will tell you when.... IIRC, by watching the video posted, etal, it is June 17. She is probably in heavy training right now. Running with the wolves, that sort of thing. I am also in heavy training with my buds Ron Rico, Jose Cuervo, Jack Daniels -- and -- of course -- my Old Grand Dad
I'm feeling guilty -- and old. I really would like to do something like this race -- maybe not 50 miles, but the 13.5 bit would be O.K. But, as I was walking up the stairs at work this morning, my knee did the old "half-buckle" with major pain routine and a quick YELP -- yeah -- not a good idea. The connection to racing in the video below comes near the end of the clip. The entire clip is only 85 seconds.
O.K.: You have had your fun -- and I am having terrible problems trying to post.... BUT, just in case you all come to your senses, there are still a few spots left to register for this race . BISCO and MENDEL and BOB WILSON could enter as a team! Anyway, guys, wish me luck -- from here I go into the great abyss! Kris (Bob, you have permission to spell it with a "C," but I want to hear more dog stories).
is there a wheelchair division? all the best! please keep us posted, even if it takes more than 23 seconds.
i was almost going to come. i haven't been in the great northwest since we went across country in 1964. i would love to spend a good few weeks out there, and not all in peet's.
Living in the Seattle area, I assume that Dr. Bisco meant one thing and that pretty much everyone else has been left in the dark, about Peets Coffee. It is a coffee shop in the Seattle area (well, probably elsewhere, also).
Had to say goodbye to running almost 5 years ago after a total hip replacement. Enjoy your experience.
