I think I see a total of 5(!!!!) PS3's contributing to the team now. That's close to 30,000 points a week from those boxes. When does Priuschat blow past team Wildkow ;-) Mid-May or so?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(bigdaddy @ Apr 1 2007, 09:46 AM) </div> ARRGGGHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! First week of May or before. I think may even be less than a month. Curse the PS3 why can't you guys just play games? Good Job! 29 active and 31 Total Team members and growing! Average 4500-5000 pts/day outstanding! Many teams seem to be adding the PS3. Without one my team standing is now going backwards I have lost 3 places in the last couple days. Wildkow

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Wildkow @ Apr 1 2007, 08:21 PM) </div>   You could always just assimilate with the very monster that you created! How many years did you say you've had Team Wildkow? Wasn't Team PriusChat lauched in October 2006?
Those PS3s are something else! I've had to switch one of my machines to the new beta SMP (for multiple cores) to keep from being embarassingly overtaken. It's coming, I know, but I'm determined to put up a fight =) I have gotten Ubuntu installed on a box destined for home theatre use, but I haven't figured out how to install the SMP version in Linux yet. I'll have to try again =)
All Wildkow has to do is tempt the Prius PS3 owners to play an online game together. That way all of us would take a break from folding at the same time. Anyone playing Motorstorm?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(geologyrox @ Apr 2 2007, 12:39 PM) </div> It's not you, Karen. It's that darn Wildkow that I am after. He's been taunting us for months with his team ranking, now he's just weeks away from eating crow!!! By the way, is that the SMP that is putting out all of your big numbers (1,500+)? Wow! All the better to overtake WildKow!
well, i have 3 computers trying to download a new workunit, 2 have been trying for almost a week. i am just about out of the game i guess.
Looks like you guys have a 120,000-150,000 point month coming up here, damn once you pass me and I start moving my machines over to the PC team I do believe we can get ourselves into the top one hundred or at least very close to it. Way to go Team Priuschat! Oh, BTW . . . I have not yet begun to fight! [attachmentid=7353] I took georox's idea and installed the SMP client on my puter and one WU was worth 1760 points! Thanks Geo you Rox! Now if I can only talk my wife into letting me buy 12 Core 2 Quad puters or 5 PS3's I may be able to hold you all off until the end of the year. I made the mistake of starting a work unit on my iMac G4 - 800 mhz. As soon as it's done after about a month, I'll have to move it over to a linux box until I get a faster mac someday.
Mine has been trying to upload a result and failing all day. I think I will check out the beta SMP thing.
OK just CUT IT OUT! Borg admirers’ creep me out. BTW can you imagine a client for the Borg Collective? Zowie! Wildkow <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(bigdaddy @ Apr 7 2007, 06:12 AM) </div> Hmmmmmm, All your base* are belong to us! catchy name for a Folding Team! <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(sharkmeister @ Apr 7 2007, 06:09 PM) </div> Shark check this site and see if your server might be down. http://fah-web.stanford.edu/serverstat.html Wildkow

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(DaveinOlyWA @ Apr 10 2007, 09:43 AM) </div> That would probably be the easiest way. Just erase all the files from the directory containing the Folding@Home client. Don't erase (graphical client) or FAH504-Console.exe ("No nonsense" text-only console client) then double click one of the above depending on which one your using and fill all the information in again. Make sure you get your name exactly, including caps, or else you will not accumlate points to your existing user name. Also you might try using a team number that is a bit smaller than 52533, try using 304 instead? <_< Wildkow p.s. Hospital? Did I miss something? Good thoughts and prayers on the way. . .
