Anyone interested in Alarm install instrucions?

If they want the correct PDF, have them go to techinfo, set the filter for the 2004/2005 Prius, select the checkbox for accessories, then do the search for alarm, or all for that matter.
Then they just click on the link for the VIP RS3200 alarm w/GBS which should link to the w141rs32.pdf file. If instead they link to the w141gbs.pdf file, they selected the wrong 'accessory' install instructions.

 

Sorry I dont have the instruction.Wolfman never follow up
with the result of his installation. I suspected it's just a theory
of how to install a paging alarm system. Or he's trying to sell
consulting service or selling an alarm system.

I find that my Prius builtin alarm system to be useless.
I don't have glass break sensor installed. Even with glass break sensor
installed, if you are far away from the car, you wouldn't hear the alarm.

A paging alarm system would be nice as part of an OPTIONAL package.
I heard that there is an alarm system available in Japan that take picture
of the burgler. It then send transmit the picture to the car owner cellphone.

I am sure such an option could be retrofitted to the car, but if it were to call a cellphone, it would need to be compatable with the cell service being used; CDMA or GSM.

But then any notification system could be used, just trigger off the alarm siren output.
