OK thanks. I will have to keep an eye on mine.

I installed mine at the first of the summer so about six months now. I rolled all 4 windows down on hot days to let the cabin heat out and drove 45-60 mph for a couple of miles before hitting the highway.

No problems so far but I will keep an eye on them.

Mine have been installed since 2007. The rear ones have never fallen out.

Being very patient and careful in the installation seems to be the key.

+1 I totally agree. If I had installed my rear ones the way I first interpreted the installation instructions mine would most likely have fallen out.

I do not know that I could have interpreted the correct way to install the clips from the installation instructions that came with the visors. It took watching the online video before I fully understood what the instructions were trying to show me.

I'm with jdcollins5, I installed mine right after I got my2013 III, I thought I had them installed correctly. One came off in a parking lot. I reinstalled, (incorrectly again) and then I lost one while driving. I did get a new pair for free, and I looked at the instructions again, and discovered that I had the clips in the wrong way. Corrected both sides and have been in for about four months now, and everything is just fine. My only problem was that WeatherTech claims their stuff is US made and the window defectors were made in Germany.

I almost gave up on the Weather Techs in my 2010 Prius. I purchased them, installed them and two weeks later took out the driver's side because I could not get it past the auto up/detect. Several previous posts explain my common problem. However, a couple weeks ago I got it out again and reinstalled it to decide whether to use just the passenger side deflector, whether this time the driver side would work or just order another brand.
At this point, the driver's side seems to be working better with the window going up 50% of the time first try...maybe because I do it slowly 1/4" at a time. Time will tell.
The question/comment I have is: To give an example, let's say I am ordering fast food at a speaker and it is raining with no wind ... or I drive to the pick up window with the Weather Techs on, and the driver's windows down 4" or more, even if there is no wind, rain drips down off the deflector onto the interior plastic and upholestry inside the window and rolls directly down onto the window and lock switches. I never had this problem when I used the Weather Techs on my Camry - with the window half way down or more, if there was no wind, the water/rain would not go down on the edge of the window or inside my car, much less onto the switches. Is it doing this because of the shape of the Prius? I assume the door/window below the Weather Tech must bow out more than the top of the window where the Weather Techs are and so when water drips off the Weather Tech defectors, it goes straight down or inside the car running off onto the switches? I find this concerning with water dripping on the switches that control the windows and door locks. Am I the only one who has noticed this?
