Anyone had complete failure of gas pedal?

There is your answer. This is especially noticeable if MG1 is spinning fast in the other direction, and has to do a quick start of the ICE.

Exactly what i was thinking. i really notice it if i'm at the top of the electric area on the HSI, then floor it, there's a lag of around a second before the power all kicks in at once. if you ease the power on from the same place of the HSI you get a consistent and smooth increase in power.

Could this be what people are describing?
