Anyone got their Prime tinted

Got mine tinted yesterday. 15% Llumar Pinnacle Ceramic. $425 and worth it in the brutal Alabama heat.

 

Anything on the windshield ?

Thanks. Got the 5% strip at the top. They almost have me talked into doing either the air 80 or a 40-50% ceramic on the windshield

 

The air80 is great for heat rejection.

43% heat rejection is what it does and makes a huge difference in the ac required when driving.

Something to consider.

 

Definitely considering it, that’s a big ole windshield for a lot of heat to come through!

Wow, nice. Mine isn’t near that good, and I purposely keep the auto climate set at 73 or 74 degrees.

 

77 F here is what I use as a setting.

Comfortable enough until I get home where we have solar and the house is a cool 74 F.

 

Came out really nice! 35 is all that’s allowed in CT. Wish I could have gone darker on mine.

 

Just tinted as well. 35% in the front and 15% in the rear doors and hatch.

Guy qouted $150 for the front windshield clear ceramic (40% heat reduction). Is that a good price?

 

Looks good, but a bit dark for Cali .

That’s a good price for the windshield (I had ours done for $200 at the same time the other tint was done).

Global Window Films ceramic. 33% front, 4% rear/rear hatch. Nothing on windshield. In Nevada.

 

Why didnt you tint your baby car?? where did you get that btw?

Lol I picked up that same GR Sport model last week when I as in Akihabara, Japan. I’m surprised the rear hatch lifts up. Nice!

 

Mine was done at the Dealership. I got Solarplate Tinting.,

 

Where did you buy the mini me? Regular department store ? Dealership?

Sorry for the late reply. I purchased it from one of the department stores. I forgot what it’s called but it had 6 floors with a bunch of different vendors on each floor selling a bunch of anime figurines. This was near all of the Initial D model cars.

 

What did you end up paying and what type of tint (metallic or ceramic)?

 

I just picked mine up about 2 hours ago. I did all with LLumar Formula One Pinnacle series. For 6 side windows and rear hatch for 449. In Alabama installer said front shield is illegal but we did install clear Pinnacle for additional 229. Boy what a difference in heat in the interior. There is a big price difference between grades. See attached for differences.
