Anyone else the $99 Ebay front lip installed on their cars?

Hey Guys, again sorry for such a delayed reply. I just happened to see that Eugene was reaching out to me. I clearly need to update my alert preferences.

Yes, It looked a lot better than I had thought originally! However, I really had to hit this thing with a heatgun. There ARE mounting points that match the underside of the car. However, I had to drill holes into the lip itself(it wasn't pre-drilled). After that, I had to use screws to mount into place for the front end. I also used small strips of Grey 3M tape to secure it into place.

 

Anyone has any idea where i can get one of these?

I'm more than afraid to try something like EZ Lip... does anybody have experience with stuff like that?

 

if you are considering ez lip, I'd recommend paying a visit to your local hardware store, since it's the same as a rubber weatherseal for garage doors plus some 3M double sided tape pre applied.

you can get the same ez lip look for about half the money if you go the DIY route.

now, I have seen many of em fail, and fall after weeks / months (YMMV) that being said the fix is quite easy, use plastic bumper fasteners. Those provide a better fix and could reinforce the double sided tape fix. my two cents

 

Im not super into the look, just want some type of lip thats not gunna cost upwards of 400 bucks

 

Originally they were sold at $99 price got higher then, you can still buy one today for less than half those $400, at $188.50

Personally, if they get sold again at $99 or so I will buy one for my Prius, still waiting for that to happen tho..

Not sure what brand cf bino had but Charge Speed has them in CF as well. Little pricey here but with a little research, you may be able to find a little cheaper.

Not as many lips out there for us because of the front end facelift in 2012. Front end slightly changed so the lip from 2010-2011 won't quite fit well at all!

Everything that says pre facelift on that site is gonna be for 2010-2011. After facelift is for 2012-2015.

You guys are going to laugh but , I was not able to buy the lip 11 days ago.. the order went in and all, then a few days later I got a few emails from Ali Express stating that they had closed my order and that in order to appeal, they needed me to verify my ID. After filing the appeal to the closed order they said all was in order, then the seller PMs me like: We're sorry but we have sold out, you will be refunded in the few coming days etc, which they did since the charge did not appear on my bank statement, so at least an honest seller .

Nevertheless, the hunt for the stance never ends and so.. I found this on eBay:
