And the same to you my friend. I am glad to hear that you have achieved P&G and got your oil changed. Keep looking up like you are doing. I am sure there are those above who are helping you and yours.

Your dad raised a wonderful son. That's all we parents hope to do. May God bless you.

Yea, just stumbled upon this thread, guess I should have done a quote.

I'm also actually quite surprised that after 3 years my solar panels look brand new... But it is stored under cover when at home.
I think I was the first gen 3 prius in my town.... I remember when I went to the dealer I had to give them an in service!.... LOL!

No paint fade on my 06s.

Mr Snead, Thank you for taking the time to read me. I'm building up the courage to go BACK to the V.A. Hospitle next week & perform for the ''troops.'' It's the very least I can do in memory of Dad. It will be painful, I must admit, to go down the very corridors where he walked, was wheeled then took his "last journey" the night he passed in Oct. I don;t mind volunteering at all, it's the "ghost" or the flashbacks I fear. Yet, I must do this for the living and having the PRIUS to get me up there safely & especially ECONOMICALLY , i'LL DO IT FOR THE LIVING & hofully the 'old Man' will be smiling down upon me when I play his favorite song..."Stardust." Thanks for blessings Mr. Snead...I wish them back to you & your family especially this difficult Holiday Season as we ALL cope w/ Newtown, Ct. a place I have entertained, in the state where I was born, raised and left only because of the extreme weather changes. Now there are times I wish I was back . . .then i think abut the taxes and say...not. :) Merry Christmas Mr Snead. Don

Ahhhh, Gee Thanks Ron. It's always good to hear from you as you've become sort of my mentor when it comes to most ?'s w/ my 'DREAM MACHINE.' About 3 weeks ago, I went thru a drive-thru . . .the guy inside never said a word. whcih was OK w/ me i was chillin' makin' up my mind & basking in the glory of my screen reminding me of 53.2MPG---finally I had to say I'm ready now . . .he shot back in a startled voice where do come from i didn't even here you & you didn't show up on our screen"...I said I'm driving the NEW PRIUS STEALTH ! he bought it. LOL
LMAO all the way home w/ the yellow registering 100 @ 36MPH.
Take care & keep in touch . Merry Christmas & to all a GOOD PRIUS NIGHT. :)

    Hi Don,

Just keep doing what you are doing and don't hesitate to go back to the VA. I am sure there are many there that will welcome you with arms wide open. FWIW, there are many here on PC that are more knowledgeable than I am concerning the Prius. Try to glean as much as you can from all the resources available. Keep working on the P&G, right now the MFD on ours is reading 60.3 with 153 miles on this tank. The weather has been rather warm this fall, however winter keeps knocking on the door. I find spring and fall to be the best for us, as summer's really pull hard on the A/C, and I like to keep the heat on when it is chilly outside. Take care and keep looking up.

    Ron
